PERSONAL TRAINER:
Michael “M.J.” Van Voorst 
Specialties: Weight loss, building lean muscle, corrective exercise for muscle imbalances, running/walking gait analyses and pre/post-rehab for shoulder, hip and knee surgery.
Sports Specific Training:
Golf, softball, swimming, running, cycling, and triathlon training.
Philosophy:
M.J. believes in using functional training methods coupled with traditional strength training to help your body move more efficiently and pain free every day. Core strength produces stability and helps create a more connected and agile body for general fitness and sports specific goals. Fitness can be obtained by strengthening the entire body, not just focusing on one body part at a time. With these core beliefs in mind, M.J. provides a custom fitness program with realistic goals to satisfy each individuals needs.

Fun Facts about M.J.:
M.J. was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL.
M.J. became a competitive athlete at the age of five –starting with summer swim league competing for SPA (St. Pete Aquatics). At the age of nine, M.J. began to swim year round for SPA up through high school. M.J. started racing triathlons at seven years old under the guidance of Katie and Ralph Perry, and Rue and Kathy Morgan–becoming one of the original members of the St. Pete Mad Dogs Triathlon Club. Team Majic (masters and junior incorporated) was the first road bike team she raced for.
M.J. was sponsored at the age of eight through Fast Track Bikes (a local bike shop). She was nationally sponsored for mountain biking by Diamond Back Bicycles for one year and Caloi for two years. Fast Track also supported M.J.’s efforts in triathlons and road cycling for four years.
Recently, M.J. has moved off-road from triathlons to trying her hand at Adventure Racing.

Elizabeth’s techniques range from relaxation to clinical and therapeutic application.
My main goal is to reduce stress; this promotes healing by improving circulation and deepening relaxation which helps to achieve an overall feeling of well-being.
Other benefits are increases range of motion.
Philosophy:
I try to maximize my time as much as possible touching on all the areas of concern while ensuring a well balanced massage.

-100 hours Swedish American Massage
-50 hours Deep Tissue Massage

PERSONAL NOTE:
My goal is that while you’re in my room, no matter how long, it should be a time where you can forget all the stress of the day and falling asleep is the best compliment.
